Treo 500

My old Treo650 becoming more and more unstable, always freeze even
after I just reflashed it. But Treo's qwert keypad and 320x320
touchpane screen is very convenient for me. I'm starting to find
another Treo handset to replace this old one.
In my company, lot's of colleges using WM handset because we have
lot's of WM projects, then I found this Treo 500 engineering phone
from WM team. It's a chance to have a test whether this phone is as
same convenient as my 650.
Treo 500 has attractive apperance, smaller than 650 and without
atenna, 320x240 screen without touchpan support, qwert keypad, 1.3M
camera, support Micro-SD card and it's a WM phone.
Advantage:
1. Apperance is beautiful than 650. Treo 500 has attractive skin.
2. WM6 is more stable than PalmOS.
3. Good Java support. There's only poor IBM J9 support in Treo650.
(I'm using Gmail java client for this post now, also has good support
of OperaMini, when I using Treo650, everytime I want to access website
via OperaMini will cause handset crash)
4. Camera is better than 650.
5. Standard Mini-USB cable support. I can use the same cable with my
wife's Nokia handset.
Dis-advantage:
1. Still do not have a good Chinese version ROM and chinese input
method. I have to input english for this post, :-(
2. Screen does not have touch support, very inconvenient.
3. Do not support plug Mini-SD and SI crad wihtout power off handset.

Anyway, it's should be a good choice for these who are more care of
apperance. In my mind, Treo 500 is not a good "Treo" hanset.
